Beyonce about Adele : (Adele's Music Is Like 'Listening to God')

In the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Grammy-winning British singer Adele reveals that Beyonce's alter ego Sasha Fierce helped her overcome her performance anxiety.

The voluptuous 'Rolling in the Deep' singer said that she was inspired not only by Beyonce's fierce twin, but by a chance meeting with the singer, who told her she had the voice of God. "I was about to meet Beyonce and I had a full-blown anxiety attack," Adele explained. "Then [Beyonce] popped in looking gorgeous, and said, 'You're amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I'm listening to God."

Adele revealed that moment of truth came later, when she found herself crying hysterically on a balcony, alone. "'What would [Beyonce's alter ego] Sasha Fierce do?'" Adele recalled asking herself. "That's when Sasha Carter was born," she concluded, referring to her own Sasha Fierce/June Carter-inspired power persona.

The Destiny's Child frontwoman was previously rumored to be recording with Adele back in 2009, when she lavished praise on the 22-year-old singer, and reportedly invited her into the studio to record.

"Beyonce loves Adele's voice and her music," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "Adele is really excited -- she grew up listening to Destiny's Child and they are still her favourite group. It's her dream to record with Beyonce."

Though the collaboration has yet to materialize, Adele's acclaimed sophomore album, '21,' is in stores now, and has sold over a million copies in the U.S. since its February release.
